The “Selfie Ready Smile Contest” is sponsored by Rana Dental Corporation (“Sponsor”) This contest is governed by these official rules (“Official Rules”). By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements and understands that the results of the contest, as determined by the Sponsor and its agents, are final in all respects. The contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to the Sponsor, not the corresponding social media platform(s).

 

ELIGIBILITY

Geographical, Age, and Parental Consent Requirements:

Unless otherwise specified, Contest is open to individuals who (i) are legal Northern California residents, (ii) Have parental/legal guardian’s consent (if applicable) (iii) who are 13 years of age and up.

Employees, contractors, officers and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, vendors, distributors, and advertising, promotional and judging agencies, and any third party prize provider(s) and/or prize fulfillment service (collectively, the “Contest Entities”); individuals employed by any other destination marketing organization; and members of the immediate families (spouse and biological, adoptive or step-parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings, and each of their respective spouses regardless of where they reside) or households (whether related or not) of any of the above individuals are not eligible to participate in the Contest or win any prize.

 

CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins on March 1, 2022, 9:00 AM PST and ends on April 21, 2022, at 11:59 PM PST. (“Contest Period”).

 

SUBMISSIONS PERIOD

All entries (submissions) must be received on or before the time stated of March 1, 2022, 9:00 AM PST and ends on March 13, 2022, 11:59 PM PST. during that (“submission period”). Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the contest and or the submission period at their sole discretion.

 

HOW TO ENTER

You must enter the Contest through the Sponsor’s Website application process by either going directly to www.ranadental.net or clicking the link on the Sponsor’s Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok post. You can find the application under the “contest” tab on the Sponsor’s website page. Participants must fill out all required fields on the application to participate in the contest.  For Children under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany the participant to virtual screening and in-office comprehensive exam/orthodontic consultation.

 

WINNER SELECTION

Each participant must submit an application (See above for application location). All applications will be accepted from 3/1/22-3/13/22 at 11:59 PM. Once we review your application, eligible participants will be contacted to schedule a brief virtual consultation with Dr. Hetal Rana for a pre-screening. Screening instructions will be emailed prior to consultation. Virtual screenings will be scheduled between 3/14/22-3/18/22 All applicants must meet the required criteria for participation based on Doctor’s discretion.

Each semi-finalist is required to participate in an in-person office visit which includes but is not limited to a comprehensive exam, x-rays, orthodontic records, etc. All qualifying participants  (based on Doctor’s discretion and evaluated during screening) will then be contacted by our office to schedule this appointment. This appointment is free of charge (valued at $59-$224). Appointment times are limited and will be scheduled between 3/21/22-3/30/22 at the times predesignated for the contest by Rana Dental.

Each participant is required to submit a 30-second video that answers the question “How would winning Invisalign transform my life?” Videos must be submitted no later than 3/30/22 at 11:59 PM. All Qualified participants will receive an email with further details. Rana Dental team members will watch all the videos and choose their favorite, only 10 finalists will continue on to the last round. Rana Dental team voting will take place on 4/5/22 and all finalists will be contacted with the results. The top 10 videos will be posted on our social media. (TikTok, Instagram & Facebook) 2 Videos will be posted per day at or around 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM 4/11/22-4/15/22. These videos will be posted in random order.

All contestants will be included in one post that will be posted on each social media platform on 4/15/22 at 5:00 PM and end on 4/21/22 at 11:59 PM. Voting on social media will begin at this time. All votes, comments, and likes must be posted on this designated post to be counted. Any votes cast on individual videos, shared posts, and other posts will not be counted.

The winners will be announced on 4/22/22 at or about 6:30 PM PST.

Announcements and instructions for the contest will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the potential prize winner’s entry form. Each entrant is responsible for ensuring that they have working internet and/or phone services and is monitoring his/her email account for prize notification and receipt or other communications related to this Contest. The winner will be announced at the live event on 4/22/22. The event will begin at 6:00 PM and the winner will be announced at or around 6:30 PM at the event and live on our social media. The live event will be held at Rana Dental, 1422 Blue Oaks Blvd. #130, Roseville, CA 95747. If a potential prize winner cannot be reached by Administrator (or Sponsor) within fifteen (15) days, using the contact information provided at the time of entry, or if the prize is returned as undeliverable, that potential prize winner shall forfeit the prize and the prize will then be awarded to the contestant with the next highest number of votes.

 

CONSENTS/RELEASES

By entering the contest participants release all photos, pictures, videos, names, ages, orthodontic records and scans and models to be used at our discretion for current and future marketing and social media purposes. We will not sell, trade, or offer this information to other companies and it will be used for the sole purpose of Rana Dental’s marketing and orthodontic program.

 

CONDITIONS

After the full comprehensive exam is completed, if the contestant has any treatment or restorative work diagnosed, the contestant must have it completed by their treating dentist and provide Rana Dental with a letter of clearance. In the event that they do not have a dentist of record, the needed work can be scheduled at Rana Dental. All treatment costs will be presented in a written treatment plan prior to being scheduled. All pending treatment must be completed before active orthodontic treatment begins. If treatment is not completed by 8/1/22 then the winner automatically forfeits the prize. At the discretion of Rana Dental, the prize may or may not be awarded to another runner-up.

 

 

PRIZES:

Grand Prize: Full Orthodontic treatment (Invisalign) maximum value of $6,500.00.

Incidental expenses and all other costs and expenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rules and which may be associated with the award, acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

Upon the request of the Sponsor, the potential winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release, and Prize Acceptance Form and IRS W-9 form. If a potential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner will be disqualified. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligible entries are received.

 

The prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate, and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in any printing or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by the Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the Contest, without notice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering or unauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Contest. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may have occurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue. Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, and representatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE, AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES, THE FACEBOOK PLATFORM, ADMINISTRATOR, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE, AND SUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS, OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANY COMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE CONTEST.
